Each line grows a move at a time: watch a short sequence, play it back, fix what you missed, then recall it from memory. Every line opens on whichever block you are up to.
Symmetrical Variation
The Symmetrical English — both sides mirrored each other perfectly with fianchettoed bishops and castled kings. White has a slight edge from playing first. The long diagonals will be key — plan to break the symmetry with d4 or e4.
King's Indian Setup
The English vs KID — we built a reversed King's Indian with extra tempo. Black pushed e5 to claim the center. Our Bg2 controls the long diagonal. Plan: d4 to open the center and use our tempo advantage.
Four Knights Variation
The English Four Knights — all four knights are developed, Black pinned our knight but we opened the center with d4. After exchanges, Black castled safely. A dynamic, open game — use the open lines to create pressure.
